The Westmoreland County Board of Elections met June 2, 2026, at the Westmoreland County Courthouse and unanimously approved pre-certification of the results from the May 19 General Primary. Commissioner Ted Kopas moved to approve the pre-certification and Commissioner Douglas W. Chew seconded; the motion carried unanimously.
Commissioner Sean Kertes called the meeting to order at 1:01 p.m. County Solicitor Melissa A. Guiddy was present. The board also unanimously approved the minutes of the board's May 7, 2026 meeting after a motion by Kopas and a second from Chew. No members of the public offered comment during the public-comment period.
