The secretary resolution cited Iowa Code chapter 279.3 and the oath requirements under section 277.28. Both motions passed on roll call with the directors voting in the affirmative. The appointments were entered into the meeting record and the board recognized outgoing Director Zimmerman, who the board said will be leaving the board to become a high-school principal.
