Matt Pike of South Coast Engineering presented an Abbreviated Notice of Resource Area Delineation for 174 Old Bedford Road (Map 1, Lot 23). He told the commission that wetlands on the north half of the property were delineated in April 2026 and are shown on the plan as flags 101–119 and 201–210. "The wetland borders on an intermittent stream that flows out of the irrigation pond," staff noted when summarizing the site visit and supporting DEP data sheets.
Richard Cormier, staff, recommended the commission issue an Order of Resource Area Delineation approving the flags as shown on the plan dated May 12, 2026; he emphasized that this filing is for delineation only and that no work is proposed. Commissioners asked clarifying questions about the flag locations and how the delineations relate to maintained open areas on the property.
A commissioner moved to approve the ORAD as recommended; the motion was seconded and the commission approved issuing an ORAD for the flagged wetlands. The ORAD confirms the delineated resource areas for permitting and future review but does not authorize any new work.
