Equipment purchases: On first reading or by motion the council approved or advanced several budgeted equipment purchases using competitively bid contracts: a 2026 Freightliner semi cab ($128,916), a 2025 New Holland tractor and mower package (~$224,275), two replacement Chevy Tahoe police vehicles (~$108,420 total) and a remote dispatch console (Motorola, $114,128) to provide mobile/remote dispatch capability. Staff said the purchases were within budget and mirrored previously approved specifications.
