Superintendent: Elementary, middle school projects on schedule; public budget hearing set for July

Larson noted the next step in the budget process is a public budget hearing in July with potential action, and he confirmed the first day of school for grades 1–12 is August 26. He corrected the date for the district’s annual board of education meeting: that meeting will be held Monday, July 20.
Larson also thanked community partners — including Pizza Ranch and Suland Library — for their involvement with the district’s summer reading program.
