Melissa Jurgensson explained the change is an administrative requirement under the health insurance plan to allow members and dependents to access care in New York when appropriate. She recommended designating the director of human resources as the contact, replacing William Stringer as the existing contact. A commissioner moved to approve the update and to authorize Jurgensson to sign the form; the motion was called and approved.
Staff will complete the contact update with the New York State Department of Health as required by the plan.
