Clerk Auditor Mike Wilkins reported the results: one parcel sold to Stunts Valley Ranch for $6,000, with $4,128 to be remitted to state unclaimed properties; a parcel sold to Tyler Justin Harris for $62,749 (the amount of taxes, penalty and interest); a parcel sold to the Rar Family Trust for $800 (with $12,722 to be sent to unclaimed properties); and a parcel sold to Adam J. Kendall for $4,700 (with $4,78.74 to be transferred to unclaimed properties). Wilkins presented the sales for ratification so the county can issue tax deeds to the purchasers.
A commissioner moved to ratify the tax sale as presented and the commission voted to ratify, enabling county staff to proceed with deed issuance and required remittances to state unclaimed property.
