Farmingdale water department reports wells operational, testing underway and lead-and-copper notices mailed

Staff noted routine sample collection for EPA and quarterly sampling for wells and tanks and reported that new samples were taken ahead of inspections at Ridge Road.
The minutes also record a staffing update: Frank Koch has retired and Jim Agett is now the 1B Licensed Operator. Administrator/Clerk/Treasurer Brian Harty and water staff indicated ongoing coordination with the South Farmingdale Water District and that staff will continue follow‑up with Nassau County as required for approvals.
