The Dallas County Conservation Board reviewed planned sales of county vehicles on Purple Wave Auction and accepted delivered bids for replacement vehicles. The items listed were two Stivers Ford Lincoln F-150s for delivered prices of $37,175.50 and $39,493.50, and a 2026 Chevrolet Trailblazer from Karl Automotive Group for a delivered price of $23,245 plus a $30 delivery fee.
Deputy Director Jim Uthe clarified that a listed SUV was a Trailblazer rather than an Equinox. The board discussed electric vehicle options but was told current pricing was not in the budget.
Scott Hall moved to accept the listed bids and Rebecca Hillmer seconded; the motion carried with all members present voting "aye." The board noted proceeds from Purple Wave sales of older vehicles will be returned to the department budget.
