Superintendent Elijah Key proposed that members of the public fill out a public input form indicating which agenda item they want pulled and that public comments be moved toward the end of regular board meetings. "If anybody wants to speak on an agenda item, they could write down that agenda item to be pulled and make their comments at that time," Key said, adding that suggestions are open.
Chairman Leroy McMillan asked to take time to review the proposal and said the board would make a decision at its next meeting. The superintendent indicated the district would pilot or refine the process based on feedback before adopting any permanent change.
