Brookline completes town-hall move; Selectboard posts Pierce Pond Dam bid and advances project manager RFP

Town Administrator Andrea Williams-Cameron told the Selectboard on May 26 that the relocation of town operations to 55 Route 13 has been completed and she publicly thanked department heads, volunteers, the Lions Club, vendors, and IT support for the successful move.
The Board reviewed a near-final proposal for a Town Hall project manager and discussed an aggressive timeline intended to allow planning for Town Meeting and a potential bond. Chief Jeffrey Stewart assisted with proposal preparation; some dates in the RFP will be adjusted before it is issued.
Separately, the Selectboard posted a bid for work at Pierce Pond Dam: a mandatory site visit is set for June 8, questions are due by June 12, and bids will be opened at the Selectboard meeting on June 22. The Board also set an annual emergency-management desktop exercise for Friday, Sept. 25 (9 a.m.-noon) led by Emergency Management Director David Coffey, and scheduled department head performance reviews for July with materials due June 30.
Selectboard members asked Town Administrator Andrea Williams-Cameron to reach out to Primex and the New Hampshire Municipal Association regarding drafting a contract policy after noting potential contractor-liability issues observed during recent renovations.
