A committee member told the chair that "on these 3 bills, all Republicans will be voting in the affirmative," and the chair said all Democrats would also vote in the affirmative, after which the chair declared the three bills passed the committee.
When the chair called HB 37, a committee member said Republicans would vote against it while Democrats would vote in favor. The chair then declared that "the ayes will have it" and said HB 37 would pass the committee and be referred to the floor.
The chair asked for a roll call vote on HB 497. During the roll call some members answered "yes" (Chairman Harris said "Yes" when called and another member, Curry, also responded "Yes"), while others were recorded as "designation, no." Chairman Struzzi responded "No" when called. After the roll call the chair announced that HB 497 would pass the committee and be referred to the House floor.
With the day's business complete, the chair said there was no further business and adjourned the meeting.
