Kate Williams delivered the Performing Arts Center’s annual update to the Ashwaubenon School District Board on Nov. 12, describing a shift toward more revenue-generating performances and a schedule designed to balance school needs with outside rentals.
Williams said PAC usage has risen over the past six years, prompting one additional staff hire and the appointment of three new PAC board members to help manage operations. A new priority plan for scheduling reduced planned school-only use from 74% to 62% of available dates, opening more dates for income-generating performances and rentals; performance revenue now represents about 38% of use.
Williams also reported she has secured approximately $150,000 in private donations to support facility and equipment improvements. She framed the scheduling changes as a way to preserve school access while enabling the PAC to develop additional earned revenue to support operations.
The board heard the update as part of regular district reporting; no formal vote was tied to the presentation.
