During the June 9 meeting the Select Board approved a set of equipment and public‑works procurements.
The board moved to award a five‑year lease for eight new golf carts (with trade‑in of eight 2016–2017 units) to C2 Vehicles; the lease includes terms allowing a subsequent purchase. The amount read into the record for the five‑year lease was presented during the meeting as $64,393.20 (as read).
Separately, the board authorized contract 26‑HW‑33 to Acubrian LLC to provide and install a new brine system (B R system) as included in the FY2026 capital plan. Town staff said the existing system is outdated and parts are no longer supported; the new system will restore winter brine and anti-icing capability.
Both motions were approved and staff were directed to proceed with contracting and scheduling installations and delivery, with usual capital‑project reporting to the board.
