Ken Gaspar said Play Power is partnering with local employer Clay (Play Power) Miracle to provide discounts and product support; the proposal includes ADA‑compliant surfacing and accessible play elements. Commissioners discussed several possible locations, including the old municipal pool site, and asked Park Superintendent Larry Howard to identify underground utilities, parking impacts and the preferred site.
Council members asked staff to return with detailed cost estimates for both equipment and installation, a recommended site, and financing scenarios. Larry Howard said he would evaluate siting and prepare a recommendation for the council.
