At the May 11 meeting Public Works Director Chris Berry updated the council on the downtown bid process and said staff are working with Hutchison Engineering on project planning and procurement steps. The update outlined where the bid process currently stands and next steps for project delivery.
In a separate discussion the council considered potential changes to the city’s liquor and gaming ordinances to address gaming cafes and parlors. Council discussion was exploratory; no motions were made and the matter will return for further consideration.
