ECI committee approves minutes and student travel for national competitions

At its June 4 meeting the North Penn ECI committee approved minutes from May 12 and authorized student travel for five FBLA students to San Antonio (June 28–July 3) and 27 TSA students to National Harbor (June 22–26). Motions passed by voice vote.
The North Penn School District ECI committee unanimously approved routine meeting minutes and two student travel requests during its June 4, 2026 virtual meeting.
Chairman Mr. McBain called for approval of the May 12 minutes; Dr. Tio moved and Mrs. Coin seconded the motion, and the committee approved the minutes by voice.
Dr. Waters described two travel requests and the committee approved both by voice. She said five students from North Penn High School’s Future Business Leaders of America and one staff chaperone will attend the FBLA national conference in San Antonio, Texas, June 28 through July 3. Dr. Waters also said 27 students from Penbrook’s Technology Student Association and a staff chaperone will attend the National TSA conference at Gaylord National Harbor June 22–26.
The board did not record a roll‑call tally; the minutes and travel approvals were adopted by the committee’s customary voice votes during the public meeting. No amendments or conditions were recorded.
