Coffee shop seeks demolition permit; president offers conditional expedited answer

Commissioner Victoria Siemieniewski said she would have preferred earlier notification about the permitting issue and asked to be looped in on portfolio matters sooner.
Knodle said Haug Properties waived the requirement that the tenant restore the property, and that his company will cover demolition and foundation costs. The record does not show a final determination of the demolition permit at the July 8 meeting; President Klug’s conditional offer sets a near-term administrative deadline for the city’s response.
