Board hears that slant grant ending adds roughly $205,000 to district budget; CIS coverage expanded for three schools

Administrators said CIS caseloads vary by building but estimated about 40'50 case-managed students across sites and that CIS programs collaborate with social workers, guidance counselors and attendance officers on attendance, behavior and grades.
Separately, Mr. Haynes noted the food-management services contract is in its fourth renewal year and will be up for bid next year; a PSBA-recommended funding resolution was added to the finance agenda with a June submission target. The general-fund budget final approval was on the board meeting agenda that night; homestead and credit details will be posted with June agenda materials when available.
