Commission members report on regional NERPC sustainability roundtable and GHG inventory update

Michael Spinar noted that NERPSI intends to update a regional greenhouse-gas inventory with new 2025–26 values to inform local planning.
Commissioners discussed opportunities to send representatives to an environmental committee meeting that is open to the public; the group noted that committee meetings are quarterly and the next scheduled session is Aug. 6 from 10 to 11:30 a.m., likely via Zoom. Members encouraged attendance to network with neighboring towns and learn about grants and programs available to support local projects.
