The Architectural Review Board approved petition 2026-0011 to allow new exterior colors for Wellington Reserve Office Park, an approximately 8-acre multiple-use planned development along 441 that includes two three-story buildings and seven one-story buildings.
Staff noted the site had visible wall stains and discoloration and that the exterior had not been updated since construction in 2006. The applicant sought permission to repaint buildings, signs and dumpster enclosures to the colors shown on the ARB color board; staff said it had no objection and listed conditions in the staff report. Staff also said awnings and signage would not change as part of this request.
Rigo Ruiz, a board member, said repainting is intended both to address the citation for staining and to modernize the property to align with nearby new development. He told the board an approximate repainting cost of $200,000 and said the change would complement neighboring properties. Board members inspected the awnings in the presentation and said they appear to be in good condition; the board approved the staff-recommended colors after a motion and second.
Staff reminded the board the next ARB meeting would be April 22. The board voted in favor and adjourned the March 25 meeting.
