Planning presenter David Newell summarized the request from Lotus Wellington: tenants asked to use their own trademarks and colors rather than a uniform, single‑font approach previously proposed. Applicant representative Rich Casor said the landlord will review tenant submittals and reject items that appear incompatible with the project’s overall aesthetics.
Board members and staff confirmed that size, height and white‑light illumination requirements remain in force; the change affects only branding color and font choices subject to landlord/staff review. After opening and closing public comment with no comments submitted, the ARB moved and approved the amendment based on staff recommendations.
The amendment gives the landlord internal review authority to ensure signage remains consistent with the project’s standards while allowing tenant identity in colors and fonts.
