Staff presented the updated equestrian trails master plan and associated cost estimates for projects in the capital program. The list includes the Palm Beach Point bridle extension, C2 canal culvert extension at Owsley, C23 multimodal/bridle connections, and several fencing and trail‑head projects.
A committee member moved to approve the committee’s recommendations on capital projects and the motion was seconded. The committee approved the recommendation by voice vote.
Staff said some projects are being fast‑tracked for design to enable construction next summer (Palm Beach Point and the C2 culvert extension). The committee confirmed that projects identified as year‑one include the Owsley roundabout crossing and other high‑priority items; staff will present the formal package to council as the committee’s recommendation.
