Amanda, a borough staff member, told council the borough has awarded a contract to Musco Lighting for field lights at Otter Street and that those fixtures are in production for a hoped-for September start to accommodate the soccer season.
"Musco is the supplier of the field lighting for the actual soccer field," Amanda said, and she added that playground and parking-lot lighting would be handled by separate contractors. She said plans for the concession/press box building are prepared and that the parking-lot work requires a permit from the permitting authority (referred to as "D").
Amanda said playground equipment lead time was about 6–8 weeks the last time the borough checked and that the borough is trying to use co‑star‑approved vendors to speed procurement. Council members asked for continued updates and thanked staff for work moving the project toward construction.
The update also listed four project elements the borough expects to deliver at Otter Street: field lighting, the concession/press-box building, playground equipment and the parking lot across the street.
