ARB approves Harvest Pizzeria additions at 24 East Main with signage and landscape conditions

The New Albany Architecture Review Board on June 8 approved site and building additions for Harvest Pizzeria at 24 East Main Street, allowing a detached 117‑square‑foot freezer enclosure and a 63‑square‑foot pizza‑oven enclosure with a stainless steel chimney pipe.
At the meeting the applicant introduced himself as Chris Crater, owner of Harvest Pizzeria. Staff described the proposed enclosures and said materials and details will match the existing building. "All materials, trim elements, and details will match the existing building design," staff said during the presentation. The owner confirmed the hardy board will be painted to match the building and that roofing will match the existing standing seam.
The board approved the application with conditions requiring final signage review by the ARB once details are finalized and a detailed landscape plan to be submitted as part of building permit review. The board also discussed minor landscape modifications including removal of two fire pits and an ADA access update, which staff said can be noted on the permit plans.
The motion to approve was moved by Committee member Mister Eitan and seconded by Mister Davey and passed with all present votes in favor. The approval allows the owner to proceed with permit applications subject to the stated conditions.
