Administration said the purchase keeps the program site close to the high school and would be financed from FY27 Capital/CCSFT revenue; the district expects to close on July 1 and to build on that lot in a future school year. The motion passed after a second and a voice/roll-call vote in favor of the purchase.
Board members confirmed the lot borders existing duplex housing and that district staff consulted with local real-estate advisors before recommending the buy.
