An administrator added that conservative assumptions about future COLA were used for long‑range planning: “So we're staying within our means, working towards a very positive budget.”
After the presentation, Board Member Susie Lara moved to approve the budget and David Sanchez seconded; hearing no discussion, the chair called the vote and the motion carried.
The meeting also included formal approval of the 2026–27 LCAP, which the board adopted after a brief presentation of local indicator self-reflection data showing generally high internal scores on professional learning and family engagement. The presenter cited Panorama climate-survey gains, vocational program participation and dual-enrollment success as indicators of progress.
