River Ridge CDD adopts loan amendment and approves $173,368 ditch‑cleaning contract

The River Ridge Community Development District Board of Supervisors on June 25 unanimously adopted Resolution 2024‑05 to amend the use of proceeds from its Improvement Revenue Note, Series 2024, and authorized a first amendment to the loan agreement with Synovus Bank.
District Manager Chuck Adams presented Resolution 2024‑05, which changes the project scope for the Series 2024 Note to allow loan proceeds to cover drainage projects and other scope items. On a motion by Mr. Blumenthal, seconded by Mr. Mountford, the resolution was adopted with all in favor.
The Board also considered an estimate from MRI Construction, Inc. for dry retention flow‑way ditch cleaning adjacent to River Course holes #6 through #8 in the amount of $173,367.78. After discussion about debris removal, the flow‑way and control structures, the Board approved the MRI estimate on a motion by Mr. Blumenthal, seconded by Mr. Twombly, with all in favor.
Mr. Adams noted loan proceeds will cover the drainage projects as part of the revised scope and that staff included the irrigation project with a 10% contingency in planning. The motion approvals were recorded as unanimous (all supervisors present voted in favor).
