Atlantic Beach committee reassures vendors: farmer’s market location stays as operator changes July 1

Staff said the market’s physical location will not change and that vendors will be given the opportunity to meet the new operator. The committee discussed vendor concerns about what the transition might mean; staff said they had reserved the pavilion after the last market so current and prospective vendors could meet Dig Local and ask questions about the new operating model.
Committee members suggested outreach and social-media posts to reassure customers that the market would remain in place; staff agreed to prepare flyers and consider tabling on July 5 to promote the Centennial and notify regular market patrons about the operator change.
