Quincy Partnership for Youth reports small but steady reach in quarterly update

"One of the things that we're most proud of this quarter is our Strengthening Families program," Cruz said, noting the program served 12 youth and 12 adults across English and Spanish cohorts and graduated nine families. She reported a drug‑trend training for local professionals with about 45 attendees, and said the coalition conducted compliance checks with law enforcement and the Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board, with seven of eight businesses passing.
Cruz encouraged residents to participate in upcoming events, including a community drug take‑back on April 24 at the Quincy Police Department and a Raising Safe Digital Kids parent workshop on April 29 in partnership with the Quincy School District. Council thanked the coalition for its work and encouraged continued collaboration with local schools and businesses.
