The Lenoir City Council approved its consent agenda at the Feb. 17 meeting, accepting items A through F by voice vote.
Items included approval of minutes (Feb. 3 council and Feb. 6 planning retreat), adoption of a FY2026 audit contract with Cindy Randolph CPA PLC for $45,000, a surplus resolution to declare a SIG Sauer P‑320 (serial 58J472282) and the badge of Sergeant Matt Spears surplus upon retirement, approval of the proclamation for Government Communicators Day, and a resolution expressing city support for implementing a municipal separate storm sewer system (MS4) with a stormwater management plan prepared by the city and Western Pedmont COG and subject to review by the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality.
Mayor Pro Tem Tim Perkins moved to approve the consent agenda; the motion passed with six affirmative voice votes and one council member absent. No amendments were recorded.
