"It is a really comprehensive policy that was drafted with review by the Middlesex District Attorney's Office and formulated based on ... best practices," a town official said; staff said the policy will be posted to the town website once formatted and finalized.
Select Board members moved and seconded the authorization; the board recorded approval. Staff said entering a five‑year contract produces cost efficiencies, preserves continuity for the program and avoids repeated reprocurement on a shorter cycle.
