The Irondequoit Town Board on June 9 introduced a resolution to call for a public hearing on rezoning multiple properties — including 1422 Portland Avenue (North Side Manor) and adjacent parcels — from R2 (residential) to R5 (residential) to align zoning with neighboring parcels and consolidate several lots.
Bill, speaking for planning/staff, said the application was submitted by Costich Engineering on behalf of Morgan Northside Manor LLC and Sanchar LLC, owners of North Side Manor. The applicants propose to re‑subdivide and combine the parcels into a single property and change the zoning designation to match adjacent land uses.
"They want to clean up that parcel and rezone it to the R5 which is consistent with our zoning map on the properties to the north and to the south," Bill said. Staff provided a copy of the resolution and supporting materials in the board packet and said the matter will be scheduled for a public hearing as part of the formal rezoning process.
Board members asked clarifying questions and indicated they would wait to review the full submission and public comment before taking final action.
