Hanover Area School District board approves financial and personnel recommendations and names treasurer for 2026–27

The meeting included a formally announced executive session held at 5:00 p.m., during which the board discussed employee relations, labor negotiations and threatened or actual litigation, before the public meeting began at 6:10 p.m., the board president said.
Board members who registered affirmative votes during the financial roll call included Mr. Shiverella, Mr. Homrris, Mr. Haidider, Mr. Majer, Mr. McDerman, Mr. Orvik and Mr. Stevens, according to the transcript. Two members were recorded absent (Mrs. Ble and Mr. Reic). Specific item numbers and the motion to table item 6 were noted on the meeting agenda.
The board announced a special session for final budget adoption on June 20, 2026 and a subsequent meeting on June 23, 2026.
