The Lancaster County Board of Commissioners approved several infrastructure contracts on June 9 totaling the award amounts disclosed in the meeting record.
County Engineer Pam Dingman recommended awarding a $1,213,107.10 contract to JJK Construction LLC to replace Bridge X-084 and remove Bridge C-262; Dingman said a matching grant will help fund the project. The board voted to approve the contract.
Dingman also recommended awarding a $2,046,964.05 paving contract for Pine Lake Road (South 112th to South 148th Street) to Pavers Inc. She noted the winning bid came in under the estimate and plans to request a transfer from the highway fund to the bridge and special roads fund to cover costs. The board approved that contract.
Separately, the board approved a Proseal Inc. contract for 2026 pavement rejuvenation not to exceed $422,481.28, and an agreement with Schemmer Associates Inc. for survey, environmental and design services related to replacement of County Bridge V-033 not to exceed $241,812.
All four actions were approved by recorded vote during the meeting. The contracts move county road and bridge projects forward pending normal contracting procedures and execution of agreements.
