The Lancaster County Board of Commissioners approved a consent agenda on June 9 that included amendments and renewals for a range of county contracts and received routine reports for May 2026.
The consent items covered vendor contract amendments with Kidwell Inc. (extending CAT6 cable work and camera replacement contracts), Sapp Bros. (antifreeze, coolants and washer fluid renewal with a cost cap of $75,000), Greenfield (Sprague salt shed amendment adding $2,540 for a total not to exceed $224,115.11) and Matheson-Tri Gas (renewal not to exceed $45,000). The package also listed renewals for general construction services (ten vendors with a combined cap of $300,000), snow removal motor grader services (combined cap $116,800) and preventative maintenance on county autos and light trucks (combined cap $39,000).
County Clerk Matt Hansen presented the items; the board approved the entire consent agenda by roll call. The board also received and placed on file May reports from the Assessor/Register of Deeds, Records Management, County Clerk and Clerk of the District Court.
No discussion or dissent was recorded on the consent items. The approvals were processed as routine business and will allow staff to proceed under the extended or renewed contract terms.
