Board approves 36 resolutions including road, utilities and social-service contracts

On motions moved by Commissioner Jeff Fix with seconds from Commissioner David Levacy, the Board recorded unanimous roll-call approval (Jeff Fix, David Levacy and Steve Davis voting aye) for a package that included 36 resolutions covering multiple departments:
- County Engineer: award of the 2026 Micro Surfacing contract to Pavement Maintenance Systems, LLC; a contract with Aero-Mark Company, LLC for the 2026 pavement markings project; notice-to-commence documents for the pavement markings and crack seal projects; a construction and road usage agreement with Homewood Corporation; appropriations for construction in progress.
- Facilities: lease agreement approval with Lancaster-Fairfield Community Action Agency for office space at the Tussing Road Government Services Center.
- Job & Family Services: multiple service agreements for child protective services network placements (Journey Home Foster Care, The Village Network, A New Leaf, Victory House LLC, Life Start Inc.) and Title XX profile approval for 2027.
- Regional Planning: approval of a development agreement for Basil Western Logistics LLC subdivision.
- Sheriff: one-year contract extension with TeamHealth/Premier Physicians Services and approval to submit an amendment for additional litter-law enforcement funding.
- Utilities: multiple appropriations and fund-to-fund transfers for debt-service payments across water and sewer funds.
- Other approvals included appropriations for arbitrage rebate legal services, Law Library appropriations, payment-of-bills resolution and miscellaneous administrative approvals listed in the review packet.
The Board adjourned at 10:09 a.m. following the votes. No contested roll-call votes were recorded in the transcript; each listed motion passed with all three commissioners voting aye.
