Phoenixville Borough Council adopted June 9 amendments to Chapter 6 (conduct) adding Part 13: immigration enforcement. What happens next: The ordinance is now part of Chapter 6 and will take effect per normal code-adoption procedures; staff said the changes were intended to provide clarity about borough property use and to codify policy the borough had previously discussed in committee.
