Staff said the required geographic reporting (the annual GRC) prepared by Bob Swintz at London Woody Group has already been uploaded to the Indiana Gateway TIFF viewer and to the Department of Local Government Finance website. The board agreed to notify taxing units by letter on city letterhead and to include a presentation on the next regular meeting agenda in June so taxing units can review and ask questions.
Board members noted that historically a school representative (Mr. Gaye) has attended and provided context on districted allocations; staff will prepare the notice and presentation materials.
What happens next: staff will sign and distribute the notice to taxing units, and the commission will present the TIF report at the June meeting as required by state rules.
