- Council bill 2026-266 (rezoning to C3 for property at 730 North Schiffer Decker Avenue) was placed on first reading and advanced after applicant Andrea Snyder spoke in support. Andrea Snyder said the expansion would allow their business to continue operating and grow.
- Resolution 2026-008 granted a permanent special-use permit to convert an existing downtown building at 1721 South Joplin Avenue into a two-unit dwelling; staff and the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval.
- Council bill 2026-268 vacated an unplatted portion of right-of-way near 3201 Macintosh Circle following a realignment work with Freeman Health Systems; staff said no roadway will be lost and the change cleans up the title.
- Council approved two expedited demolition contracts taken from a packaged bidding process: Council bill 2026-350 (demolition at 403 W. 19th St., Prime Contracting, specific lot bid $7,110) and Council bill 2026-351 (demolition at 202 N. Florida Ave., Courtney Construction, $13,600). Staff said three other structures in the bid package are ARPA-funded and cannot be assessed to the properties.
All of these motions were carried by voice vote (recorded as eight in favor with one absence).
