Normandy Park council confirms Tamara Hardy and Larry Jordan to local commissions

The council confirmed Tamara (Tammy) Hardy to the Arts Commission for a partial term (staff said the appointment expires December 2027). Mayor Eric Zimmerman introduced Hardy as an experienced local artist and longtime community member; council moved and seconded the confirmation without discussion. “She’s great,” the mayor said when recommending the appointment.
The council then confirmed Larry Jordan to the Planning Commission. The mayor said Jordan has served the community and is well-suited to help the commission navigate forthcoming legislative changes; council noted there were four applicants for the seat. The motion to appoint Jordan passed unanimously.
Both confirmations were made by motion, second and voice vote; no recorded roll-call tallies were given on the record.
