Neshaminy board approves new hires, administrators' agreements and other consent items in unanimous votes

The Neshaminy School District board on Monday approved multiple personnel and labor items through master motions and confirmed a list of agenda items to be considered at the public meeting.
Mrs. Holland moved a master motion covering appointments and personnel items (agenda 2.01–2.04) and it was seconded by Mrs. Brochious; the motion was recorded as passing nine to zero. Following the vote, newly contracted teachers stood and introduced themselves by name and assignment, including Heather (kindergarten, Tanka), Rachel Cover (science, Questing), Marissa McCertie (first grade, Miller) and several others.
Later the board approved a second master motion (agenda 2.05–2.08) to adopt several bargaining-unit and administrative agreements, including the confidential secretaries agreement, the administrative support association agreement, the district administrators association agreement and the district cabinet agreement. That motion was seconded by Mr. Rodriguez and likewise recorded as passing nine to zero.
The clerk summarized the items slated for approval on the public meeting agenda (3.01–3.14), which include routine business matters; year-end budget transfers; the 2026–2027 final operating budget; student settlement agreements; stop-loss insurance for 2026–2027; federal and other program budget adjustments; student activity accounts; the Chester County Intermediate Unit and CCRE Educational and Behavioral Health Services agreement for 2026–2027; Homestead and Farmstead exclusion items; contracted services for the 2026–2027 school year; a Thomson Reuters agreement of services; contracted transportation services addendum; an ESS contract addendum for ESY 2026 and the 2026–2027 school year; and a first reading of several policies.
Motion to adjourn passed 9–0; the board reminded the public of its next meeting on June 23 at 7 p.m.
