The court designated Alice (county staff) to calculate the new revenue rate and the voter-approval rate for 2026 and approved the road administrator's report, which listed mowing, pothole repairs, chip sealing on part of United States Drive West, debris clearing after heavy rains, pickup of illegally dumped tires, and a 4-hour safety training for road staff. Commissioners moved to approve routine monthly reports and payment of bills; motions carried.
The court also noted a community meeting at the Fairplex to address a local screwworm problem with sessions scheduled for 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. on the announced date. The meeting was adjourned after completing these items.
