Normandy Park council approves reappointment, parks policy update and graffiti removal

Graffiti removal: Public Works Director Ken Quarter presented photos of longstanding graffiti at the Sylvester Bridge ravine and requested authorization to contract for removal. Council authorized City Manager Arrington to approve the work; staff noted the cost-savings question of doing removal on a multi-year schedule versus ad hoc fixes.
Other routine votes included approval of the consent agenda and excusal of Council member Susan West. No controversial policy changes were made; staff will follow up as needed to implement the approved items.
