"What makes volunteers so extraordinary is their willingness to pause that clock for someone else," a presenter said, stressing small, steady acts of service as central to community life. The board recognized Sharon Graver as the Active Adult Impact Volunteer of the Year; Michelle Berseron, executive director at the Asiggo Senior and Community Center, had nominated Graver. Dan and Joanie Britain were named Community Impact Volunteers for sustained support of outreach programs. Jamita Jones was honored for founding the nonprofit Grow with GEM, credited with organizing diaper drives, back‑to‑school fairs and other assistance programs.
Also acknowledged were Lorettto Arzola as Business Impact Volunteer of the Year and three Rising Star volunteers — Aubria Villa, Junior Dominguez and Lander Arosio — for notable youth contributions at village events. Presenters and board members encouraged attendees to continue supporting local volunteer efforts and noted that the awards showcase how routine service strengthens civic life.
