Rye Conservation Commission conducts site walks at three Ocean Boulevard properties; applicants to present Feb. 12

Chair Vic Odryna called the Rye Conservation Commission's site-walk meeting to order at 10:00 a.m. on Feb. 10, 2026, and led inspections of three properties slated for review.
The commission began at 1212 Ocean Blvd (Tax Map 17.3, Lot 36), owned by the Sharma Rockingham County Trust. Present for the site visit were Chair Vic Odryna, Vice Chair Mike Garvan, Secretary/Clerk Hugh Lee, Land Use & Environmental Administrator Kara Campbell and Olivia Boyer of TF Moran. The minutes state the RCC conducted the site walk with TF Moran and that the applicant will present the project at the commission's Feb. 12 meeting; the RCC will then make a motion either in support of or not in support of the project.
At 10:30 a.m. commissioners inspected 2300 Ocean Blvd (Tax Map 5, Lot 53-1), owned by the Kerri M. Ahn Trust. The same commission officers and staff were listed as present, along with TF Moran representatives. As with the earlier site, the applicant is scheduled to appear on Feb. 12 for a formal presentation and subsequent commission action.
At 11:00 a.m. the group visited 70 Causeway Road (Tax Map 2, Lot 82), owned by ABCL Associates. Attendees included Chair Odryna, Vice Chair Garvan, Secretary/Clerk Lee, Kara Campbell and John Chagnon, identified in the minutes alongside Haley Ward. The site-walk summary again notes the applicant will present Feb. 12 and the RCC will make a motion for or against the project at that meeting.
The site-walk minutes record that the meeting was adjourned at 11:00 a.m. by Chair Odryna. No votes or formal motions were taken during the Feb. 10 site walks; all formal presentations and any motions are scheduled for the Rye Conservation Commission's Feb. 12 meeting.
