Police report: June calls and training; Main Street recaps bike parade and helmet grant

Ryan, speaking for Greendale Main Street, said the Fourth of July bike parade drew more participants than the prior year and that volunteers distributed about 125 T-shirts to children. He said INDOT provided a grant of 100 bike helmets and backpacks that were handed out at the parade to encourage helmet use. Ryan also reported on Main Street's office move to 512 Ridge and a curb-appeal grant that approved six homeowners for reimbursements.
Council thanked staff and volunteers for the events and the police for training updates. No formal action was taken during these reports.
