Greendale approves $1,500 to bring 'Talking Is Teaching' panels to parks

Council members voted to donate $1,500 to the program, with $750 to come from the mayor’s fund. The motion received a first and second and passed by voice vote.
The presenter said the panels arrived on order after the town received a grant through Early Learning Indiana and that Linda had requested rotating panels among parks so residents could see different topics at different locations. The program is intended as a free, public resource for families and the presenter invited questions and future feedback from the council.
The council did not place any additional funding conditions on the approval. Staff said they would follow up on installation timing and rotation plans.
