On the community center, Ken reported the city ordered an appraisal that produced different valuations depending on demolition versus sale-as-is. Staff has been in discussions with two prospective buyers and requested that interested parties submit a purchase agreement or letter of intent by the end of the week for review by council. He said both interested parties indicated a willingness to keep the library space in any reused building. No sale was finalized at the meeting.
The EDA did not take a formal vote on sale terms; the discussion focused on next steps for offers and bringing proposals to the City Council for consideration.
