Superintendent praises graduations, introduces two principals and announces Fort Pierce K-8 groundbreaking

Together, we are going to steer Southport Middle School towards excellence." Board members asked Saj's family to stand to be recognized.
The superintendent then introduced Lauren Gesler as the new principal of White City Elementary. Gesler said she was "deeply honored and grateful for the opportunity to serve" and pledged to build on the school's strong foundation, praising teachers, staff and families.
Dr. Prince also announced a July 28 groundbreaking for a new Fort Pierce K-8 school, which he said is expected to be built on time and open in August 2028. He closed by thanking staff for their work organizing graduations and urged the community to stay safe over the summer.
